Calling all children between the ages 7-15 years! If your child would like playing in the woods, getting muddy, climbing trees, making friends and a medicinal potion to take home, then come send them to us for a herbalism session.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn all about using medicinal plants that can heal, nourish and support bodily functions.

These workshops are 2 and a half hours long, and will cover plant identification, foraging rules and safety, plant history, tea tasting and storytelling, along with a fabulous lesson in making their own creations of child friendly ointments, creams, oils, syrups and more to take home!

Building autonomy, confidence, understanding and a deep respect for nature, this is a unique and fun day spent in woodland with like minded children.

Your child will benefit from the expertise of an experienced and trained tutor. All materials and tools will be provided. Also a hot/cold drink, and a small snack.

(Bring outdoor weather clothing, wellies and raincoat, pen and paper, water bottle and snack)

£25 per child with £5 sibling discount if you book for two children

You can attend with your children, or children can attend alone.

These workshops are run by Elise, an experienced and trained herbalism tutor.

A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Elise grew up with woodland surroundings, with childhood memories of climbing trees, creating bug hotels and building dens. This gave her a solid foundation and deep affinity with nature, all creatures great and small, and a belief that we are part of nature and stewards of our beautiful Earth.

Elise has a herbalism qualification with Heartwood College, and is a trained forest school teacher, working in many forest schools across East and West Sussex. She also works at a local Primary school teaching herbalism and cookery. Elise has a passion for plant healing, nutrition, and wellbeing and wishes to inspire and pass her knowledge and tools on to future generations.

Sowing the seeds of change, in our hearts, minds and souls.
